    Meet Tyra!

Tyra (they/them) is Turtle Mountain Ojibwe from North Dakota, where they grew up. They are passionate about Indigenous food sovereignty. They grew up with a garden and a love for berry picking with their family.

When not gardening or at markets, one can find Tyra learning their Ojibwe language, developing their craft of poetry, and always learning about herbalism and the gifts plants have to offer.

Paige (she/they) holds many talents across her professional and artistic life.

From working in education for nearly ten years to building a chicken coop in their backyard, Paige is always making our world a better place to live in.

Currently, she works in operations at a labor union and is finishing her masters in organizational leadership.

Outside of the office, Paige enjoys playing with birch bark, oil painting and drawing, and of course... gardening and canning.

Paige's love of food preservation runs deep in their family, especially the women who raised her. You can often find Paige calling them up for tips and tricks, or joining them for the occasional food experiment.

Paige is ecstatic about CanIHaveSome as a way to connect with people over food and creation. That’s something quite special.

We infuse creativity, joy, and love into each of our unique and delicious products. As a Native and Queer owned business, we aim to inspire a community of food and garden lovers like us and to embrace the fun and diversity of each season.
